State Fair Thank You

For hundreds of Maryland 4-H/FFA youth and their families, the 2011 Maryland State Fair offered a fabulous opportunity to showcase their project work and to connect with the public to teach them about the opportunities the program offers. Many, many 4-H members, families, volunteers, UME faculty and staff, and Maryland State Fair staff members worked hard and deserve a round of applause for their successful efforts to put forth such a positive illustration of the Maryland 4-H program. A simple Thank You probably does not go far enough, but I hope that it does convey a message that their support of everything 4-H that occurred at the 2011 Maryland State Fair was noticed and appreciated by many people. Thank You!

The College of Agriculture and Natural Resources three unitsAcademic Programs, the Agricultural Experiment Station, and University of Maryland Extensionwork in concert to educate students and citizens about critical issues and to solve problems in agriculture, food systems, and the environment. The college is an equal opportunity employer and provides equal access programs.
