*Grant: Share Our Strength’s Great American Bake Sale – To ensure that low-income children receive nutritious food during critical out-of-school times; in particular, for efforts to increase participation among low-income children in summer and after-school meal programs.

*Grant: Teen creative writing – To engage writers’ and artists’ colonies that have experience with or an interest in working with young people to develop a summer creative writing retreat program for teens. Proposed projects must allow for at least 20 teens to be served per year, and all participants must be in residence for no less than two weeks.

Grant: Target grants – For programs that make arts and cultural experiences accessible to children and families; foster a love of reading and encourage young children to read with their families; and strengthen families and communities and keep them safe. CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

*Grant: Learn and Serve America STEM – To implement and support school-based service-learning programs that address outcomes in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Eligibility: Grantmaking Entities, which are public or private nonprofits that can make subgrants in two or more states. Subgrants will go to local schools that partner with one other organization.
